Homemade's the best!

For homemade pizza crust, I use the bread recipe from Bette Hagman's Bread Book. Spread the prepared batter to desired thickness on pizza pans, and bake ten minutes. I then either top the crusts with desired toppings and bake them immediately, or cool and freeze the partially baked crusts for later use. I put a piece of waxed paper between the crusts when I freeze them so they don't stick together.

Glutino Pizza

Glutino makes a really great individual frozen cheese pizza. It has a thin and crispy crust, good sauce and lots of cheese. It makes a good base for adding your own toppings. It retails for about $4.99 each. Karen

Reno, NV & Davis, CA

In Reno "Big Apple Pizza" has great pizza (along with a full GF menu of other great stuff). In Davis & Sacramento, CA "Steve's Pizza" has good pizza . Call ahead to make sure they have it that day.

My favorite is Glutino's Feta Cheese and Spinach Pizza in the frozen food section at Whole Foods, Thousand Oaks, CA. I also like Garlic Jim's, Simi Valley, CA and Z's in Westlake Village, CA

Favorite Gluten-Free Pizza

Jules Thin Crust Pizza of Newtown, PA makes a fantastic GF pizza. My DH, who is non-GF, orders from their excellent selection of regular slices and I get to order a GF pie with toppings of my choice. This is one of the few GF products I've found to be worth the premium price.

In L.A.-The Sensitive Baker

In the Los Angeles area we have a wonderful gluten free bakery called the Sensitive Baker. Their frozen pizza crust is the best I've had--fresh, crisp and doesn't taste like pastry. I highly recommend them-check their website, they may ship, too.

Garlic Jim's makes a great gluten-free pizza, which, according to my husband, tastes just like "real" pizza.
