The traditional Play-Doh made by Hasbro contains wheat and is not safe for young children with celiac disease, who may swallow some (accidentally or on purpose). Fortunately, you can buy gluten-free play dough or make your own. Follow the links below for more information.

Note: If your child is likely to eat play dough on purpose, some parents have cautioned that the doughs made to smell like fruits can be more tempting.

Aroma Dough
Made with rice flour, sodium, water, moisturizing oils, natural aromas (no perfumes).

Blue Dominoes
Free of the eight most common allergens including wheat and soy; no artificial colors.

Colorations
Does not contain latex, dairy and casein, egg, gluten, peanuts or tree nuts.
