My sister-in-law left this delicious chili for supper one night when I was watching her kids, and I made her give me the recipe. As written, the recipe makes a fairly mild chili, but you can add more pepper to make it hotter. I've yet to meet a kid (or an adult) who doesn't like it!
Prep Time: :10
Cook Time: :20
Ingredients:
  • Approx 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 Large onion, diced
  • Several garlic cloves, diced
  • 1 Apple, diced
  • 1 15 oz Can of gluten-free creamed corn (or 1 can of regular corn, drained)
  • 1 15 oz Can of red beans, drained
  • 1 Cup of gluten-free ketchup
  • 1 Small can of chili peppers (or use chili pepper flakes)
Preparation:
Brown the turkey, onion, garlic and apple in a nonstick pan. Add the corn and the beans. Add a cup of ketchup and keep cooking until the mixture thickens. Add chili peppers or other hot ingredients to taste.

You can also include chopped tomatoees, mushrooms, or other ingredients as desired.

Serve with rice on the side.
