Valentine's Day is just nine days away, and when I hit the stores this past weekend, people were filling up their carts with Valentine's Day candy. But which of those candies is gluten-free?
To help you out, I've just updated my list of safe Valentine's Day candy, which includes quite a few sweets that are found only this time of year (we actually have a fair number of options for holiday-specific candy).
Here's the link: Gluten-Free Valentine's Candy (and yes, you can find gluten-free hearts with little sayings on them).
If you want gift-boxed candy, there's a lot less available -- most of those heart-shaped boxes seem to include some form of wheat and/or barley malt. My article Gift Candy Boxes for the Gluten-Free Diet explains what you might be able to buy ... or you can buy an empty heart-shaped tin and make your own with safe candy.
Enjoy, and Happy Valentine's Day!
