Christmas Dinner Safety Reminder: Don't Eat Gluten-Stuffed Turkey!

Tomorrow is Christmas, and many families (mine included) serve turkey and pumpkin pie.

To keep yourself safe on the big day (and well enough to enjoy all your great presents!), remember: it's not safe, under any circumstances, to eat turkey that's been stuffed with gluten-containing stuffing. The juices in the turkey spread the stuffing's essence throughout the bird, and you will get glutened.

It's also not safe to eat the filling from the pie -- again, the chances of gluten cross-contamination (even if you're careful to stay away from the crust) are near 100%. Don't take the chance.

I hope you all stay safely gluten-free, and have a very Merry Christmas!
