Chick-fil-A, already home to some of the most gluten-free-friendly fast food options out there, has added a new Grilled Chicken Nuggets entrée to its menu.
The fast food chain announced yesterday that it will introduce the gluten-free grilled option for children, which Chick-fil-A says is a first for fast food. The chain also will launch a gluten-free side fruit choice known as "Buddy Fruits Pure Blended Fruit to Go" applesauce, and it already offers a gluten-free fruit cup.
As part of its drive to combat childhood obesity, Chick-fil-A also is changing its children's beverage options to include only one percent milk, 100% apple juice, fresh-squeezed lemonade with 30% of the daily vitamin C requirement, and water, the company said.
