Elisabeth Hasselbeck, co-host of ABC's The View and author of The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide, has just introduced her own line of gluten-free nutritional products.
Hasselbeck's high-protein snack bars, called nogii bars, contain no gluten, no high-fructose corn syrup, no trans fats and no hydrogenated oils. They do contain soy and milk ingredients.
Initially, nogii bars will be available in High Protein Peanut Butter and Chocolate (20 grams of protein per bar) and Super Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Caramel Crisp (30 grams of protein per bar). Hasselbeck says a nogii bar for kids also is planned.
Nogii bars will join a growing selection of gluten-free snack bars on store shelves.
