"Made in a facility that also manufactures wheat products."

Do you ever wonder if that really matters? Doesn't the factory clean the equipment? Thanks to Gluten-Free Optimist, who always has great information on her blog, I found this video from Kinnikinnick Foods, which strikingly illustrates the importance of dedicated gluten-free equipment for food production. It's very dramatic -- take a look.

And it is even more than just the equipment. It also means requiring employees to change into uniforms at the worksite and providing GF foods for employees’ meals so no gluten comes into the facility. There is a reason why products from a dedicated gluten-free facility sometimes cost a little more. Thank you for this video.
