Thanks to BeFreeForMe.com, you can call a special number at General Mills and get a FREE coupon for any one of the new Betty Crocker gluten-free baking mixes! According to BeFreeForMe.com, the General Mills offer is good until further notice -- but I for one am going to call for my coupon as soon as possible! Read the BeFreeForMe.com July 30th blog entry to learn more.
In case you don't know, BeFreeForMe.com is a a web-based business that gives people with celiac disease and food allergies a direct link to coupons and product samples. Last year I wrote about BeFreeForMe.com. If you're not already on their mailing list, you can still visit their site and sign up.

Last weekend, my friend called to get her coupon (after I told her about the posting on BeFreeForMe.com), and she was told that they were all out at this time.
Just called on 8/12/09 and the recorded message said that they are no longer offering the coupons due to overwhelming demand.
Well – so much for that.
I called and they are out of coupons but I found the delils food one and made a cake. Worth the money! I thought it would be dry and crumbly like most but it wasn’t! very good. will be buying it again and again
I have to tell you, I tried the mix for the chocolate chip cookies, and they’re fantastic. I made the batch up, rolled out the dough into balls, and froze them so I can make just a few cookies at a time. Couldn’t figure out why the bag looked so empty, and it turned out my kids — who don’t have to eat GF at all — have been baking and eating them!
They’ve got a nice chocolatey flavor (the cookies, not my kids), they’re just the right consistency, and they don’t taste any different than non-GF cookies. Props to the folks at Betty Crocker on this one.

Betty Crocker/General Mills will not honor the “Free Coupon” for their Gluten Free Baking Mixes, because the website BeFreeForMe.com is not an official General Mills site. However they will send out a discount certificate for thier GF Mixes
