Next Sunday, May 3, hundreds of restaurants across the U.S. and Canada will participate in “Chef to Plate – Celebrating Restaurants Serving Up Gluten-Free Awareness,” the program sponsored by the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America to foster gluten-free awareness among restaurant owners and operators. I blogged about the Chef to Plate program in February. Each participating restaurant will offer a gluten-free meal from its menu, and each table in the restaurant will have information about gluten intolerances available to diners.

Erin S., who writes the Gluten-Free Fun blog, just sent me a list of the New York City area establishments that are participating, and I was impressed to see how long the list is – 27 restaurants!

Find out which restaurants are participating in your area by downloading the list from the Gluten Intolerance Group site. Dining at one of these restaurants next Sunday is a great way to thank them for their efforts to accommodate diners with gluten intolerance.
