Do You Need An Excuse to Try Some Gluten-Free Beer? The Super Bowl is Coming

The Super Bowl is less than two weeks away. This year it’s going to be much easier for those of us on gluten-free diets to settle in front of the game with a beer. Do you realize how many brands of gluten-free beer are available now? If they’re not in your local store, there’s still time to see whether you can order them directly from the brewer. I’ve compiled a list of gluten-free beers, along with contact information for the brewers (in and outside of North America).

During my "research" for this post, I found that my local Whole Foods store carries Red Bridge (by Anheuser-Busch) and several different brews from Green's in the U.K. I tried the Red Bridge, which I liked very much (and my nonceliac husband pronounced "highly drinkable"), and I bought a bottle of Green's dark ale Endeavour -- but then I came down with a bad cold and haven't tried it yet.

If you sample any of these beers, let us know your opinion!
